SLES 70% (sodium laureth sulfate)

1. Product Overview

SLES 70% (Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate, 70% Active Matter) is a highly concentrated anionic surfactant made by neutralizing lauryl alcohol through ethoxylation and sulfation. It has excellent detergency, foaming and emulsifying properties and is widely used in detergents, personal care products, industrial cleaning agents and other fields.  

2. Product Characteristics

- High active substance content: 70%±1%, reducing transportation and storage costs.  

- Excellent decontamination power: it has strong cleaning effect on grease and granular dirt.  

- Rich foam: fine and long-lasting foam, suitable for high foam formulations (e.g. shampoo, shower gel).  

- Hard water resistance: maintains good performance in hard water.  

- Compatibility: Compatible with most nonionic/amphoteric surfactants (e.g. AES, CAB).  

- Environmentally friendly: biodegradable (meets OECD 301 standards).

4. Application areas 

① Household and personal care  

- Shampoo/shower gel: primary surfactant to provide foam and cleansing power.  

- Detergents/laundry detergents: enhance detergency and reduce formulation cost.  

- Toothpaste: aids in foaming and cleaning.  

② Industrial cleaning  

- Automobile cleaner, metal degreasing agent, textile printing and dyeing auxiliaries.  

③ Other

- Pesticide emulsifier, emulsion polymerization dispersant.  

5. Recommended formula dosage  

- Shampoo/shower gel: 10%-20%.  

- Detergent: 5%-15  

- Industrial cleaners: 3%-10%

6. Packing and storage  

- Packing: 200kg plastic drum/1000kg IBC drum (can be customized).     

- Note: It may be thickened at low temperature, and the fluidity can be restored by heating to 40℃.
